PC security monitoring for small offices
See which PCs are protected, which need attention and which have gone quiet. Set up each Windows PC with one click. No IT department needed.
Free during launch (Beta). For Windows 10 and 11. Uses Microsoft Defender as the antivirus engine.
Three steps. Nothing to host and nothing to configure on the PC.
Run the setup file on each Windows PC and accept the Administrator prompt. It installs the agent, switches on Defender protection and starts a first scan.
Every PC reports its state daily and at start-up. You see one score per PC and what to fix, on one screen.
Get an email when a new high-risk finding appears or a PC stops reporting. Use the scan and cleaner on the PC to deal with it.
Each PC reports its own security state every day and at start-up.
The setup package includes these tools. They run on the PC, started or approved by the person at the keyboard.
Installs the agent, controls Defender (updates, daily quick scan, weekly full scan) and applies a reversible hardening baseline. It starts in log-only mode.
A deeper scan of the PC, including archives and script files. You review each finding and choose to quarantine, trust or skip. Nothing is removed automatically.
Watches Downloads, Desktop and Temp for disguised files such as invoice.pdf.js and moves them to quarantine. Staff can restore ordinary items with a reason; items Defender flags need your administrator's approval.
Clears temporary files and browser cache with tick boxes and a size preview. Browser cookies are cleared only if you tick them.
Free while AMVix Guard is in beta.
Beta, for any office
Paid plans will be announced later. Registered companies will be told before anything changes, so nobody is surprised.
You can use everything as soon as you register. AMVix confirms company details later and changes your status. It does not change what you can use.
Written by verified customers and checked by AMVix before they appear. We do not edit them.
Verified customers can write the first review from their dashboard. Reviews will show here once they are approved.
Replies are best-effort during the free beta.
Signed-in customers send a request from the Support page of their dashboard. It goes straight to AMVix and we reply by email.
Setup, scanning, Windows 7 and data questions are answered below. Go to the questions.

No. Windows 10 and 11 already include Microsoft Defender. AMVix Guard keeps it switched on and up to date, adds extra Windows protection settings, and shows you the result for every PC in one place.
No. The website only receives reports. Any scan, quarantine or cleaning is done on the PC by the person using it.
Windows 7 no longer receives security updates from Microsoft and is not supported. Such PCs appear on the dashboard as unsupported so they are not forgotten. Replacing them is the real fix.
PC name, Windows username, system and security status, and file paths of risky files. These are personal data under the PDPA 2010. They are kept for 180 days and visible only to approved users in your company.
Two is enough for a pilot. Run in log-only mode for about two weeks, review the findings, then switch on blocking.
Pilot in log-only mode first, then switch on blocking when you are comfortable.
